Students will draw 3 journals:

Journal # 1- You are on mars. What do you see? Describe the lifeforms in words. Make a list of 8 characteristics.

Now, draw in pencil, a sketch of this description. Be creative.

Journal #2- You woke up in the year 3000.Describe the changes around you in your room.

Draw your room in the year 3000. 

Journal #3- Draw the nearest seated person you see in class. Do a rough sketch, plan your space and then 

draw a detailed sketch of this person. Portraiture is a gift and not too easy. Give it your best shot.

Because I am not with you this will be a participation grade. If it is not completed, you will get a grade regardless. This is the warning so do the work!
