I graduated high school from West Lauderdale High School in Mississippi. At the University of Southern Mississippi, I completed my B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Education and Chemistry. Currently, I am one class from finishing my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from LSUS.

Not only have I attended the National SREB Networking Conference for the last 2 years, but I presented with a Ouachita Parish District Team both years,
I have been employed by the parish to teach at West Ouachita H.S. since 2014. I currently teach physics and chemistry.
I began teaching in 1989 but periodically took time off due to children, moving, etc. I have taught in 8 different schools across 4 states.
Before teaching, I was a chemist in a pathology/forensics lab for 3 years.
I have been married for 31 years. My family consists of 4 grown children, 2 children-in-love, and 2 precious grandbabies!
When not in school, my husband and I serve in local and foreign ministry. Any other time, I spend with my children and grandchildren.
